Our Pastor

Pastor Bowman has been the pastor of Lakewood Baptist Church since October 2025. Pastor Bowman and his wife, Lidia, are excited about what the Lord has in store for this wonderful, God-loving, honoring, and rightly fearing church.

The following information provides background and insights on our pastor and his ministry at Lakewood Baptist Church.

-Pastor Bowman’s teaching ministry at Lakewood Baptist Church is primarily exegetical in nature, focusing on a verse-by-verse exposition of the Bible in the Morning Worship Services and in the adult Sunday School hour. Thursday evening Bible study is reserved for teaching a multi-year study in Systematic Theology from a conservative Dispensational, Pre-Tribulational, Pre-Millennial perspective.

· Pastor Bowman is a graduate of 4 institutions of higher learning, holding degrees in Business and Economics, Business Law, Hospitality, and Bible and Theology. Pastor Bowman is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Calvary University and Seminary.

· In addition to intellectual pursuits, Pastor Bowman enjoys traveling,  camping, and making videos that promote and teach apologetics.
